Shoprecycle bags made from recycled Tyres
Due to the environmental hazards associated with the disposal of tyres, both whole and shredded tyres have not been allowed to be put into landfill since 2006. Some are re treaded whilst others are cut into granules and used for road and sports surfaces. They are also used as fuel in cement kilns. However, there are still mountains of disused tyres around the world and being strong, waterproof and pliable makes it an ideal material for bags and wallets amongst other things.
