Shoprecycle bags made from recycled Carrier bags
We are all aware of the implications of the carrier bag but they are still being produced and discarded, whilst taking hundreds of years to decompose, leaking toxins into the ground and into the atmoshere. As more people actively refuse to use carrier bags, less should be produced. However, every carrier that has been made (and not incinerated) is still here and it is important to find other uses for this waste. This collection is made from plastic carrier bags that are heat fused together which produces a lightweight but strong material. The many colours of the waste plastic is creatively combined to achieve the resultant colours.
